May is National Bike Month, established in 1956, and while Portland is known as America’s bike town we can always #bikemore.
The Bike More Challenge, presented by The Street Trust, creates more than 1,300 new riders each year, with participants riding more than 1,000,000 miles and replacing more than 100,000 miles of auto trips each year. This means fewer cars on the road, fewer CO2 emissions, and a great time to be outside rather than stuck in traffic.
The Bike More Challenge is a fun, free competition to encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to experience first hand joys and benefits of riding a bike.
Sign up and you’ll be able to track your rides, along with a business team if you’d like, and you’ll be in the running for great prizes all month long.
