Scott Sub Speed 10 – $850

Bicycling Magazine named the aluminum frame Sub Speed 10 one of it’s “Best City Bikes” for 2016. The internally geared Shimano Alfine 8-speed hub requires minimal maintenance and the Gates belt drive is super quiet and grease-free meaning no dirty pant legs. Powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes perform in any condition and paired with Continental Sport Contact puncture-resistant tires with full fenders the Sub Speed 10 ideal for commuting and urban riding. The Sub Speed 10 also looks great. Regularly priced at $1200, this is a fantastic price for a Shimano/Gates equipped bicycle capable of year-round commuting and riding.

DZ Nuts Pro chamois Cream – $24

Ryan’s Tour de Chamois Cream continues with a formulation created by a former grand tour rider. DZ Nuts Pro is a paraben free anti-fungal and anti-bacterial chamois cream that eliminates chaffing and its anti-inflammatory action soothes irritated skin. Ryan likes DZ Nuts because “It’s high viscosity and smells pro.”

Fantastic grip and feel across a range of conditions make this the tape of numerous professional cycling teams.
